Who We Help:
Have you found our site because you’re looking to work with a physiotherapist in Glasgow? Have you been recommended to try physiotherapy?
If yes, then you’ve come to the right place!
When pain and problems with your balance and falls affect your confidence, your independence and your ability to get about, it’s tempting to think “it’ll go away if I just rest” or even pretend like it never happened…
Unfortunately, oftentimes the problem festers, slowly getting worse, impacting your lifestyle and disrupting your happiness.
When living with a condition like Parkinson’s Disease or after surviving a stroke, there is so much information out there that it can be a bit overwhelming trying to figure out what’s best for you. You want to do the right things for you as an individual but don’t know what the ‘right things’ are. You want to give yourself the best possible chance to regain and maintain your independence despite your diagnosis or condition.
At Simpson Physiotherapy, we specialise in helping adults, like you, cut through the noise, providing support that is personalised to you and what you want to achieve. We want you to live your best life and know that we can help you achieve your goals.
We know you’re sceptical and not sure if you can achieve your goals, you’re not alone! Many of the clients we have helped :
- Tried treatment elsewhere, sometimes even at other physio clinics, and had poor experiences and results.
- Hoped that your problems with balance and falls would just get better with time if you rest and 'take it easy', only to find that it gets worse!
- Have been told by a well-meaning friend or family member that 'it's just your age' and to accept it!
- Have been getting support through the NHS for Parkinson's Disease, following a stroke or problems with balance and falls, unfortunately, it has come to an end and you are looking for ongoing support from someone who specialises in helping people like you!
- Have been given an exercise booklet or exercise sheet and told to just keep going on your own without much in the way of practical and personalised support to keep you moving forward!
- Have had surgery, injections, or used painkillers only to have minimal or even no success.
