Online Physiotherapy:

advanced physiotherapy london telehealth scaled

We help older adults stay independent and able to look after themselves in their own home. (Despite challenges with your walking or getting about, stroke, or Parkinson’s Disease.)

You may well be thinking that because you cannot see a physiotherapist ‘face-to-face’ there is no option than to go-it-alone!

If this sounds like you or someone you know then you have come to the right place.

With new technology from iPads and Tablets, Lap-tops and PC’s to smartphones – most if not all of these things have built in video cameras and give you easy access to the internet. That is ALL YOU NEED to get access to the best support available to help you as an individual!

Whether you need help to get your independence back after a fall or are looking for the best way possible to help you live an active and independent life with Parkinson’s or have had a stroke and want to keep pushing your recovery forward – we are here to help!

When people think of Physiotherapy, they think about the ‘hands-on’ work that we do, from deep tissue massage to the ‘magic sponge’ seen at football games. I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that Physiotherapy is so much more than ‘hands-on’ treatment. And, actually, most of what we do only requires us to be able to speak to you and find out about you, the difficulties you have and what problems you want solved and also to see you and how you move.

The great news is that this can all be done through video chat!

So, if you have a tablet or iPad, smart phone or iPhone or a laptop then we can absolutely help you solve your problems.

In fact, we are already helping people in just this way:

All of this is through online video chat on your tablet, smart phone laptop or PC!

Frequently Asked Questions:

Trust me, with modern technology it really is not that hard – I say this from experience and the fact that I am a bit of a technophobe. If I can get it to work, then so can you.

Q: But… I don’t know how it works or what I need to do to get it to work!

That’s no problem, we can absolutely help get you set up. We will call before your appointment and go through getting everything set up.

Once your set-up all you need to do is click on a link from an email we send you and we are good to go!

We will even phone you at the start of your appointment to make sure you know what to do!

It really couldn’t be easier.

Q: But… what if I need ‘hands-on’ treatment to get better?

My honest answer to this is – we won’t know unless we are able to speak to you.

Q: I don’t live in Glasgow, where your based, can you still help?

Absolutely, with the wonders of modern technology you don’t even need to be living in the same country to get the best help for you to live an independent and active life.

Click below to get in touch, let us know what problems you want solved and we will be able to tell you if we can help.

I really look forward to hearing from you and help you live an active and independent life. Trust me, with this voodoo magic interweb thing, it really couldn’t be easier.

DavidL

David L, Glasgow: Overcame balance & falls issues.

I have been receiving treatment from Simpson Physio for a few months now. My problems were with walking, managing stairs, balance, and shortness with my left leg. With exercises from Simpson Physio and suggesting insoles I am now doing a lot better with walking and stairs. I would also so recommend Simpson Physio home appointments as it makes things more relaxed in your own home.

Jacqueline C, Glasgow: Overcame neuropathy.

I have been suffering badly from neuropathy following chemotherapy treatment and have been very debilitated, almost immobile. Since working with Simpson Physio for approx two months, my condition has improved immeasurably, so much so that I’m now able to get around unaided and get up and downstairs. I would highly recommend Simpson Physio as he is an excellent practitioner as well as a very caring person.

Lynda G, Glasgow: Overcame balance & falls issues.

l met Simpson Physio about 2 years ago. l was in a care home recovering from a brain injury. l had been in bed for the best part of 2 years. l had contractures in my ankles, knees and pelvis. Encouraged by Simpson Physio l began to mobalise. lt was gradual, painful at times; however l am now independant in my own home. Simpson Physio’s knowledge of brain injury made my journey possible.
